Set in the peaceful hills of Vale Formoso, between Almancil and Loulé, Monte Bela Esperança is a home designed for guests looking for space, privacy and quality time in the Algarve.
South-facing and set on an elevated 6,800 m² plot, the property opens onto the surrounding landscape, with wide views over the hills, valley and sea. Days begin with natural light, continue by the pool and end on the terraces, where it is easy to lose track of time.
The main villa is arranged over two floors and combines the character of a traditional Algarve home with all the comfort needed for a relaxing stay. It features two living rooms with fireplaces, a fully equipped kitchen, a laundry area, three bedrooms — two of them en-suite — and three bathrooms.
The independent guest house offers additional freedom and privacy, making it ideal for families, groups of friends or guests who appreciate having their own space.
Outside, the private swimming pool, barbecue area, spacious terraces and several seating areas invite you to enjoy the property at an unhurried pace: breakfast outdoors, sunny afternoons, long dinners and simple moments surrounded by the Algarve landscape.

- Late check-in: standard check-in is between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm. An additional charge may apply for arrivals after 7:00 pm.
Additional services & cleaning
- The cleaning fee included in the booking covers check-in preparation and check-out cleaning only.
- Additional cleaning or changes of towels and bed linen can be requested, subject to availability and an additional charge. These services must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

Rates and conditions
Type of stay
This property does not operate under the Portuguese Local Accommodation (Alojamento Local) regime. The stay will be formalised through a short-term residential lease agreement, which must be signed before check-in. By making a booking, guests confirm their prior acceptance of this condition.
Check-in and check-out
Arrival should take place between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm, and departure by 10:00 am.
House rules
To ensure a peaceful and respectful stay for everyone, we kindly ask guests to observe the following rules:
- Smoking is not permitted inside the villa.
- Parties or events are not permitted.
- Unauthorised additional guests are not permitted.
- Furniture or equipment must not be moved.
- Excessive rubbish must not be left at the property.
- Quiet hours must be respected between 11:00 pm and 7:00 am.
In order to comply with legal requirements, access to the property can only be granted once the details of all guests have been received and validated through completion of the Guest Registration Form sent after the booking is confirmed.
Failure to comply with the house rules may result in additional charges, payable locally.
Security deposit
A security deposit of €1,500 must be paid online by card no later than the day of arrival. The amount will be refunded after the condition of the property has been checked.
Tourist tax
In accordance with the Municipality of Loulé regulations, a tourist tax applies to guests over the age of 16.
- Low season (November to March): €1 per person, per night.
- High season (April to October): €2 per person, per night.
Cancellation
Cancellations made 30 days or more before the arrival date are subject to a charge of 50% of the booking amount. For cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival, the full booking amount will be charged.
Invoicing
If you require an invoice with a tax identification number (NIF/VAT), your billing details must be provided no later than the day of check-in.
Extended stays
For bookings of 15 nights or more, we reserve the right to carry out a technical inspection of the property up to 7 days before the departure date.
For bookings of 28 nights or more, the following special conditions and benefits apply:
- Security deposit: a security deposit of €1,500 must be paid before check-in. This amount will be refunded at the end of the stay, after the condition of the property has been checked.
- Included utilities: water and high-speed Wi-Fi are included in the booking price.
- Maintenance: the right to carry out a technical inspection of the property remains applicable, as set out in the general conditions for extended stays.
